We successfully held the 12th edition of Space Days 2024.

Over two evenings, August 16th and 17th, at the Makarska Observatory plateau, we gathered with our guest lecturer, Prof. Dr. Stjepan Gjurinek, who we must add is a distinguished scientist. The enthusiasm of the audience was palpable, and what were supposed to be short lectures turned into marathon sessions.

What did we learn? Crop circles, today known as pictograms, are a reality that is not the work of humans or human technology, and this has been scientifically proven! They have been registered as a global phenomenon. The majority appear in England, 40-50 km within the Stonehenge circle, but they can be found on every continent, including in northwestern Croatia – though they are quickly mown down (presumably to prevent people from trampling the fields).

Why do they appear? A significant portion of the scientific community that has seriously studied this phenomenon, including our guest lecturer who has been researching them for 15 years – not only in crops and fields but also on snow, ice, water surfaces, and the facades of megacities – and has published a book titled "Circles of the New Future" on the subject, comes to the following conclusion: Whatever intelligence is behind these phenomena and the messages it sends us, it far surpasses us but does not wish for our destruction. Instead, it seeks the awakening and salvation of humanity. We need to change our behavior towards Mother Earth – otherwise, we will cease to exist, and Earth will no longer sustain us! – conveys Prof. Dr. Stjepan Gjurinek from the Makarska Observatory plateau.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the City of Makarska and the Association of Technical Culture of the Split-Dalmatia County, who have once again, for the 12th year in a row, co-financed the only scientific-technical event under Biokovo.
